All NFTree evolution and metadata updates are managed through the Virtualiser, a smart contract layer that governs the visual and functional transformation of trees over time. Based on verified data such as CO₂ absorption, compost usage, and staking duration, the Virtualiser:

  • Updates NFTree visuals (e.g., sapling → mature tree)

  • Applies new traits and yield changes

  • Tracks evolution milestones (e.g., “Biodiversity Verified”)
