Sproutly’s token ecosystem is designed to power both serious climate action and mass Web3 adoption. With the launch of the Sproutly mobile game a highly accessible, Tamagotchi-style simulator that brings NFTrees to life for a broad audience token utility will grow exponentially across both impact and entertainment layers.

**Staking & Yield**\
Stake $SEED to earn rewards like $aCO₂ tokens, NFT-based Saplings, and exclusive bonuses. Long-term staking also unlocks higher Compost yields and access to special quests.

**NFTree Evolution**\
Use $SEED to evolve Saplings into NFTrees. These trees generate tokenized carbon ($aCO₂) over time, creating verifiable impact and passive yield.

Stake $SEED to propose ideas in the DAO. Cast votes by burning $aCO₂. 1 ton burned equals 1 vote ensuring that governance power comes from real impact.

By staking $SEED, users trigger the gradual release and burning of $aCO₂ tokens by Sproutly. Each representing certified CO₂ absorption from our agroforestry systems. This mechanism ensures that on-chain activity directly funds verified reforestation, biodiversity, food security, and local employment in Brazil and Angola. Sproutly doesn’t just gamify climate action, it transforms it into a measurable, transparent Web3 economy rooted in nature.

### $aCO₂ Token

$aCO₂ (ERC-1155) is a verifiable carbon asset:

* 1 token = 1 kg of CO₂ absorbed
* Fully traceable to individual trees
* Burnable for offset certificates (PDF + NFT + Carbon Registry entry)
* Tradable as wrapped waCO₂ tokens (ERC-20)
* DAO voting utility: 1 ton burned = 1 vote
* Used as staking rewards for Tree and NFTree holders

$aCO₂ will increasingly integrate into external ecosystems via on-chain APIs, wallets, and partner chains like VeChain, Near, Plume, Camino, Pharos etc.<br>

$COMPOST is the gamified catalyst of growth across both the Web3 and mobile layers of Sproutly.

* In-Game Currency: At the heart of the upcoming Sproutly mobile game, $COMPOST is used to revive trees, activate scarecrows, boost growth, and unlock powerful bonuses making it essential for progression and optimization.
* NFTree Growth Booster: Applying $COMPOST increases the chance of evolving Community Trees into rarer, higher-yielding NFTree variants, deepening gameplay and on-chain utility.
* Earnable via:
